This very exciting news the four prototype star maps are done and turned out very nice. They are open space and three nebula fields. Maps will be 11x17 and have the ability to connect together to make larger maps.

The Dark Nebula Games Forums is now activated at http://forum.cyprianrift.com. There is not a lot out there, but as the game grows so will the forums.
Dark Nebula Games will be looking for outside playtesters shortly in a closed play testing round. To qualify, you must enjoy playing sci-fi miniature games and be willing to take the time to fill out the feedback forms. Information will be provided in the near future via the Become a Playtester link. Keep checking back for your chance to become a hero of the rift! All playtestes that provide useful contributions and meet the deadlines will be listed in the credits of the Cyprian Rift: Warships rulebook plus receive a FREE electronic copy of the game upon release. Accredited playtester who contributors will also receive a free copy when it is printed.
GenCon is just around the corner, and not soon enough. There are going to be “five” sessions of Cyprian Rift: Warship being run this year. Last year was the big debut of the first public game at GenCon 2007, and a huge success. This year the rules are cleaner, tighter and ready for another exciting year at GenCon.
